Yellowstone // Part 1

September 13, 2016

Guys! My computer has been broken (the USB ports straight up don’t work, and the card reader works 1 percent of the time), but I was miraculously able to upload my summer photos onto my computer finally. So now I have lots and lots of pictures to show you. My summer was pretty eventful because Nate and I were trying to fit in as many adventures as was humanly possible before he moved to Maine. Our first big adventure: Yellowstone.…

Pancake Cupcakes with Good Things Utah

July 29, 2016

I had the opportunity to bake again for Good Things Utah, and it was a blast! This time: blueberry maple cupcakes, a.k.a. “pancake” cupcakes. I think it’d been like a year since I was last on, so it was good to be back for sure. You can get the recipe for my blueberry maple cupcakes here. And since I can’t figure out how to embed the video, you can view it on GTU’s site here.…

Blueberry Maple “Pancake” Cupcakes

July 28, 2016
blueberry maple cupcakes

This cupcake was inspired by the classic blueberry pancake! It’s a blueberry cake base with a maple frosting, garnished with some drizzled maple syrup and a single blueberry. It’s pretty tasty if I do say so myself. Scroll down for the recipe! BLUEBERRY CAKE BATTER Makes about 16 cupcakes, or just over enough batter for one 9″ round cake pan. (Note that making a typical cake will involve doubling the recipe and making two pans’ worth of batter.) Ingredients 1…

cassies new puppy

Hey guys. I knew I could suck you into this post with a really cute puppy at the beginning. Just wanted to post some photos from the last month or so on here. Things have been pretty sweet here in Salt Lake. The highlights: helping my friend Cassie pick up a cute puppy, hiking in neature, light painting, and trying out some new, not-so-unhealthy recipes. 7 Things Only (Boy-Girl) Twins Will Understand

April 4, 2016
my twin brother Carl

Fun fact about me: I’m a twin. I have a twin broski named Carl. I like to call him my “former wombmate.” It’s funny, because every time someone asks me what it feels like to be a twin, my response is something weird like, “I feel like it would be weirder to be born by yourself.” Ha, I simply don’t know what it’s like to not be a twin because being a twin is the norm for me. And that…

my friend Victoria

Guys, I’m back! I know a lot of bloggers apologize for long absences, but honestly I think it’s silly to (it’s your blog, after all!), so I won’t 🙂 But I thought I’d start off my return to posting regularly with some pics I took a few weekends back on a trip my friend Victoria and I took to St. George, Utah. We basically just needed to get out of town for the weekend, and it was so so refreshing…

Anyhow, today I wanted to share with you ten of the most crucial…
