Portland! Portland! Portland! Maine was my favorite part of our road trip by far. It’s just so beautiful and completely satiated my need for some breathtaking scenery. We got to Portland Saturday evening and then slept under the stars by night. That was cute. On Sunday we took in as much of Port Elizabeth as we could and then boosted back to DC for as much sleep as possible before Monday morning (this ended up being about five hours for everyone.)
Mission accomplished. That’s all I can say.
